From the evaporator, the cool air is then circulated back up through the vents to your house, providing the needed air flow to the air conditioner unit. The unit, which will function with the air conditioner running, will then compress the air before it reaches the compressor, again filtering the air that passes through the unit. Once again, this will filter the air that reaches the fan, where it is circulated once again.
By understanding how home air cooling works, you will then be able to determine exactly how much energy you are actually spending on cooling your home. Now, if you are an active person who doesn’t leave your house very often, then this may not be a factor for you at all. However, if you work out on a regular basis or if you live in a small apartment, then you will want to take a look at what these numbers say about your cooling power each month.
If you live in an average home with one room that has more than one room, then the numbers will be significantly higher than average. However, if you have a smaller home, with one room, then they are relatively normal. It’s important to keep in mind that a larger home, such as those that have multiple bedrooms and bathrooms, will generate a greater amount of air flow, so more air will pass through each month.
